ABOUT STIRLING

Stirling - the Gateway to the Highlands - is Scotland’s smallest (and newest) city with a population of around 50,000 people. This includes many students who attend the campus-based University of Stirling.

A former capital of Scotland (Robert the Bruce held a parliament here in 1326), Stirling oozes history and is surrounded by magnificant scenery such as the Ochil Hills - it’s well worth a visit basically.
